What’s great about Dana is she’s super collaborative, a creative UX designer who sweats the details, and brings true end to end thinking to her work. Dana’s extensive background in UX, digital communications, project & data management is invaluable to our work in Indigenous language revitalization & data sovereignty. We hired Dana to do basic QA on new web projects. It was immediately apparent that this was a great waste of her extensive talents.
While continuing to do QA, Dana turned into a stellar account manager. Never before have I had so many clients go out of the way to compliment an employee’s efforts – she would consistently go out of her way to make sure that we were meeting, and exceeding on our deliverables. She not only improved relationships with many of our clients, but just as importantly, increased billing while keeping everyone happy.

Dana lept into her role at Vanoc with both feet, rapidly getting up to speed on the relationships between the many moving parts her job required her to manage. During her time working with the Cultural Olympiad’s Digital Edition, Dana managed a wide range of projects on near-impossible deadlines with undeniable smarts and impressive calm.

I worked with Dana at TELUS Digital on several projects, and found her to be an outstanding UX designer and easy to work with colleague. As a Product Owner, what I most appreciated was her ability to challenge the status quo, develop multiple design approaches, explain her design rationale, and flesh out every necessary detail.
